The Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology Foundation supports innovative research through Special Projects Allocations, which funds projects that address high-priority areas identified through the Alliance’s scientific strategic planning process.
These priorities, established every two years, are designed to focus innovation across Alliance scientific committees and encourage researchers to explore new disciplines, technologies, and approaches that can accelerate progress in cancer prevention, treatment, and care delivery.
Special Projects Allocations support discrete research projects that directly address one or more strategic priorities, including efforts to develop new approaches to cancer care and strengthen the design and implementation of Alliance clinical trials.
What does the funding support?
The funding supports projects that advance one or more Alliance strategic priorities, with an emphasis on innovative research, emerging disciplines or technologies, and improvements in clinical trial design and implementation.
