Alliance Scholar Award

Supporting the next generation of researchers

The Alliance Scholar Award recognizes and supports early-career investigators who demonstrate exceptional promise in cancer clinical and translational research. The award provides protected research time and resources to allow investigators pursue innovative research while fostering professional growth within the Alliance. By investing in emerging scientific leaders, the Alliance strengthens its future research community and encourages new ideas that will shape tomorrow’s advances in cancer care.

Who is eligible to apply?

Applicants must be junior faculty at an Alliance member institution who are within five years of completing their clinical training (below the rank of Associate Professor) and have completed training in an oncology clinical specialty. Proposed projects must be closely aligned with the Alliance research agenda, be endorsed by the appropriate Alliance Scientific Committee Chair, and not be supported by other non-institutional funding.
