Alliance Operations Center
The Alliance Operations Center serves as the strategic, scientific, and administrative hub of the Alliance. Led by the Group Chair and Principal Investigator, the center brings together a collaborative leadership team that includes the Program Co-Principal Investigators, Group Vice Chair, Associate Group Chair of Patient Partners, Associate Group Chair of Strategic Initiatives and Innovation, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and other senior scientific and operational leaders.
Together, they provide the vision and leadership that guide the Alliance’s clinical research initiatives—from setting scientific priorities and fostering innovation to ensuring operational excellence across one of North America’s largest cancer clinical trials networks. The center oversees the Alliance’s scientific portfolio, supports fiscal and grant administration, regulatory and safety compliance, strategic planning, and organizational operations. It also works to ensure that all research is conducted efficiently, responsibly, and in accordance with the highest scientific and ethical standards.
The center also provides leadership and support for the Alliance’s eight disease committees, six modality committees, and nine administrative committees, fostering collaboration across disciplines and aligning scientific strategy, operational execution, and organizational priorities. Working closely with Alliance members, committee leaders, and institutional partners, the Office helps transform promising research ideas into high-impact clinical trials that improve cancer care.
