Study Description
RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die.
PURPOSE: Phase II trial to compare the effectiveness of docetaxel in treating Caucasian and African American patients who have solid tumors.
